Trade Marketing Intern

Description

The team is Trade Marketing, and the internship is a structured rotation across its areas: Business Insights, Category Development and Trade Activation. You will build a working understanding of FMCG and retail while contributing to real business analysis, in-store work and category projects.

The role is a trainee position for someone keen to grow in Trade Marketing and eager to see the function from several angles.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market, consumer, shopper and sales data from a range of sources.
• Help produce regular reports and insights that surface business opportunities and market trends.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues to turn data into recommendations that support decisions.
• Help plan and run in-store activities and promotions.
• Help develop point-of-sale materials and activation tools.
• Work with the Sales and Field Sales teams so trade marketing activities are carried out properly.
• Help build category growth initiatives and shopper-focused solutions.
• Support category analysis aimed at improving visibility and performance at the point of sale.
• Help prepare presentations and materials for internal meetings and customer discussions.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Field Sales, Finance and international teams, building relationships across functions.

Requirements

• Hold a Master's Degree or be in the process of completing one.
• Have a clear interest in Trade Marketing, retail and FMCG.
• Analyse data well and turn it into insights you can act on.
• Organise your work and manage projects effectively.
• Be advanced in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Speak fluent English.
• Take initiative, stay curious and be open to learning.
• Communicate clearly and work well in a team.

Conditions

Internship with a monthly allowance of €800 plus meal vouchers.
