2027 Part-Time Event Marketing Activation Staff

Description

This part-time event marketing role for 2027 supports the team's activations on match days and at off-site events.

The team is one of 30 clubs in Major League Soccer and one of the league's ten original charter clubs. It was founded in 1996 and has played in MLS since the league began. Its First Team plays home matches at the stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, and its Second Team plays at Montclair State University. The team is owned by the Austrian beverage company the company GmbH.

The First Team has won the MLS Supporters' Shield three times and the Conference title twice. The Second Team won the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Championship. The team also runs a youth development academy across New York and New Jersey.

You will work alongside the Field Marketing team on off-site events and fan zone activations on match days. You will help plan and run these activations and engage fans and new customers. You represent the team and make sure every visitor has a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Watch over activations in the match day fan zone, greeting fans and newcomers and answering their questions about the activations.
• Check that pre-match setup meets operational standards, and understand the safety procedures for each activation.
• Help run other activations at the stadium and at off-site events.
• Back the Field Marketing team's grassroots work by handing out print materials and giving strong customer service when needed.

Requirements

• Be available for at least 50% of match days and field events.

Conditions

Schedules may vary, since the entertainment industry is cyclical and the company may need to adjust hours to meet business needs.

The pay is $18 per hour. The rate may change at any time.
