About the Role

Motive is hiring a Customer Marketing Specialist to own and execute our reviews program and customer content operations. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on driving measurable brand credibility through review platform performance, content enablement, and customer proof point management.

You'll work at the intersection of customer advocacy and go-to-market execution, partnering closely with our digital marketing team to increase Motive's search visibility and ensure our customer voice is showing up where buyers are already looking. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by seeing their work directly influence pipeline and competitive positioning.

You'll use AI, automation, and modern customer marketing tools to make review generation and content operations more scalable, while ensuring every customer touchpoint is polished and positive.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews Program Ownership
  • Own Motive's day-to-day presence on G2, TrustRadius, TrustPilot, Capterra, and Gartner Peer Insights.
  • Run review generation campaigns end-to-end, including customer targeting, outreach sequencing, incentivization, and follow-up.
  • Deliver a quarterly G2 content plan and enablement package to internal stakeholders following each reporting cycle.
  • Partner with the AEO team to align review strategy with search visibility goals and ensure review content supports organic discoverability.
  • Track review volume, ratings trends, and competitive benchmarks, surfacing insights and risks to leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Coordinate internally on review response workflows and flag feedback patterns to CS and Product.
  • Customer Content & Asset Management
  • Conceptualize and execute innovative customer content strategies to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Coordinate customer outreach, scheduling, approvals, and consent for all advocacy content and testimonial activities when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, well-tagged, and easily accessible repository of customer proof points for Sales and Marketing use.
  • Ensure all customer content stays current, accurate, and activated across the business.
  • Program Execution & Operations
  • Manage timelines, logistics, follow-ups, and asset delivery across all programs this role owns.
  • Build and maintain documentation, trackers, and workflows that keep advocacy operations organized and visible to cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure every customer-facing experience, from first outreach to final delivery, is timely, thoughtful, and reflects well on Motive.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to surface advocacy candidates and keep the content pipeline moving.
  • Measurement & Reporting
  • Track and report on review volume, ratings performance, content asset utilization, and outreach conversion rates.
  • Use data to sharpen targeting, improve messaging, and identify where the program has gaps or untapped opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, advocacy, or content operations within a B2B technology company.
  • Hands-on experience managing review platforms such as G2, TrustPilot, Gartner Peer Insights, TrustRadius, or Capterra.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of keeping complex programs on track across multiple stakeholders.
  • Clear, customer-friendly written communication skills, including the ability to write outreach, coordinate approvals, and contribute to customer stories.
  • Familiarity with customer marketing or advocacy tools such as Peerbound, and project management tools such as Asana, is a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally without direct authority and influence outcomes through relationship building and follow-through.
  • Experience with AEO, SEO, or search-adjacent marketing concepts is a strong plus.
  • Experience in industries with physical operations, such as transportation, logistics, field service, or construction, is a plus.
  • Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Consistent review volume growth and positive average ratings across all online review platforms.
  • A quarterly review platform content and enablement cadence that sales and marketing teams actually use.
  • A customer content library that is current, organized, and actively pulled into deals and campaigns.
  • An AEO partnership that translates review activity into measurable visibility gains.
  • Every customer who participates in the advocacy program walks away feeling respected and valued.
  • Internal teams trust this role to deliver on time and keep customer relationships protected.
  • Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
