Test Engineer

Description

The company provides IT services to federal clients, matching people, skills, clearances and tools to each job, and has 15+ years of delivery experience.

It has supported more than 30 federal agencies and several commercial customers nationwide.

This is a full-time, on-site role supporting a government contract for a client in Scottsdale, AZ, and an active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Help plan the technical approach, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment needed to test new systems, products and special devices.
• Write test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and produce specifications and procedures across the engineering development lifecycle.
• Run tests, troubleshoot faults and build test automation scripts.
• Break requirements into parts and analyze them.
• Write test plans and test procedure documents.

Requirements

• Required: hold a Secret security clearance.
• Required: be a U.S. citizen.
• Required: hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science or math field plus 2+ years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree plus 6 months of relevant experience.
• Required: have experience with system integration and verification, and with software integration.
• Required: have experience writing test plans and test procedure documents.
• Required: know object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages well, with hands-on experience.
• Required: propose ideas that improve productivity and efficiency, ask for input and refine solutions.
• Preferred: experience testing ground systems.
• Preferred: 7+ years of software integration expertise.
• Preferred: 3+ years working with satellite operations and ground operations systems.
• Preferred: 5+ years of recent Linux experience.
• Preferred: work well in collaborative teams, celebrate team success and meet or beat personal and team commitments.
• Preferred: learn new information quickly and take on growing responsibility and complexity.
• Preferred: keep developing professionally.
• Preferred: look for ways to apply AI to continuous improvement and innovation.

Conditions

Full-time, on-site work in Scottsdale, AZ, on a government contract.

Pay range is $60,000 - $180,000 USD. This is a general guideline, not a guarantee; the final offer depends on factors such as the role's responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, location, market data, any applicable bargaining agreement, or other law.
