The company is a global infrastructure firm and a Fortune 500 business, with revenue of $16.1 billion in fiscal year 2025 and over 50,000 staff. It works across water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings, from advisory and design through to construction management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction to confirm it meets contract terms and standards, reviewing inspection levels, test methods and results, and how deficiencies were corrected, under the USACE 3-Phase inspection program.
  • Keep current records of site observations, including daily reports on completed work, field measurements and calculations, entered in RMS.
  • Record what you observe and inspect, and issue discrepancy notices for non-compliant items.
  • Join construction progress meetings and the contractor's weekly project meetings.
  • Walk through the infrastructure and build punch lists where needed.
  • Take construction photographs when required to show progress and problem areas.
  • Take part in tests, demonstrations and field instructions alongside the right personnel.

  • Preferred: proven experience inspecting work, witnessing tests and interpreting third-party results, plus skill with construction management software and document systems such as Procore, RMS or similar.
  • Preferred: clear written and spoken communication, including detailed daily reports and technical documents, and the ability to work alone on site while coordinating with Government stakeholders and contractors.
  • Preferred: experience with closeout work, including punch list management and final inspections, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to complete the project.
