Test Engineer 2

Description

This role is a Test Engineer 2 position at the company, which supports mission-critical government projects.

The job requires a Top Secret SCI clearance with a polygraph, held now, and the ability to obtain it, and the role is onsite with a 40-hour scheduled week and no travel. Salary is likely between $102,000 and $138,000, but the final figure depends on experience, geographic location, and possibly contract terms, so it may fall outside that range.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements, concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions.
• Develop evaluation and test plans and procedures.
• Prepare for and carry out data collection and analysis.
• Report status and results.
• Research test and evaluation concepts and related engineering, acquisition, and operations activities as needed to support T&E work.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in math, science, engineering, statistics, engineering management, or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Skills in T&E strategy, master plans, event test plans, and T&E assessments and reports.
• A current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• US citizenship.
• Experience in evaluation planning, modeling and simulation, system requirements, test and evaluation, and test case design.

Conditions

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, USA, onsite.

Scheduled hours: 40 per week. No travel required.
