Description

The team supports the U.S. Transportation Command's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), an enterprise platform for transportation, logistics, and financial operations built on SAP S/4HANA ERP integration.

You will lead and carry out hands-on accessibility testing across JTMS applications, including SAP Fiori and connected web-based tools.

You will check conformance with Section 508 and applicable Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), find barriers for users with disabilities, record compliance findings, and confirm fixes.

You will work with developers, business analysts, product owners, UX designers, and other testers so accessibility is built in across the SAFe Agile development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Read user stories, designs, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria to find the Section 508 and WCAG requirements that apply, then write accessibility-focused test scenarios.
  • Design, build, and maintain manual and automated Section 508 test cases for SAP Fiori, web applications, forms, reports, documents, workflows, and integrated JTMS features.
  • Test against Section 508 and WCAG success criteria, covering keyboard-only navigation, focus order and visibility, labels and instructions, headings and structure, tables, forms, error handling, color contrast, non-text content, reflow, zoom, and screen reader compatibility.
  • Log accessibility defects with the matching requirement or WCAG criterion, severity, reproduction steps, evidence, and remediation guidance. Track each finding to closure and retest the fix.
  • Check application behavior with screen readers and other assistive technologies, including JAWS and NVDA where they apply, and confirm SAP Fiori and web functions work without a mouse.
  • Keep test cases, results, traceability, defect evidence, remediation status, and accessibility compliance reports current to support release decisions and government accessibility reviews.
  • Take part in sprint planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives, and other SAFe Agile ceremonies so accessibility requirements and acceptance criteria are addressed early.
  • Look for ways to improve Section 508 testing processes, reusable accessibility test assets, automated scanning, developer feedback, and accessibility practices across JTMS.

Requirements

  • Hold an active Secret clearance.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of software testing experience, including hands-on Section 508 or accessibility compliance testing of enterprise web applications or large-scale information systems.
  • Have proven experience reading and testing against Section 508 requirements and WCAG success criteria. You can spot accessibility barriers, match them to the right criteria, recommend fixes, and verify corrections.
  • Have experience testing SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or other large-scale E (the posting cuts off here).

Conditions

This is a full-time, regular position that requires a Secret clearance before start.

Expect up to 10% travel within the continental US.

The position can be based in more than one location, and the posted salary range is the national average for it.

The proposed salary range is $75,200-$158,100.

Final pay depends on factors such as location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, prior experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Benefits

  • Flexible time off that lets you take the time you need.
  • Access to learning resources for career development.
  • Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off.
  • A team focused on continuous growth and on work that supports national security missions.
