Test Analyst (French Speaker)

Description

This role centres on planning, running and reporting testing across project work, so that test coverage stays broad and defects are found early.

The position also helps the team meet its quality goals and gives input to Go/No-Go decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and set up test work for each project against its requirements and the standards in place.
• Write and maintain test documents and deliverables for your assigned scope.
• Decide the order in which tests are run.
• Run tests and record the results in the approved testing tools.
• Produce accurate test reports that inform Go/No-Go decisions.
• Spot defects, record them and track them.
• Take part in checking and resolving defects.
• Flag risks to quality, timelines or delivery.
• Keep the relevant stakeholders informed about testing progress.

Requirements

• A degree in Informatics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in testing.
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies and ISTQB concepts.
• Ability to draw up test schedules and organise test activities.
• Experience spotting and managing testing risks.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking, plus good communication skills.
• Professional-level French.
• Valued: experience in insurance or banking environments.
• Valued: knowledge of Octane.
• Valued: knowledge of SQL.
• Valued: knowledge of APIs.
• Valued: knowledge of SAS.
• Valued: knowledge of Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
