Junior Project Manager

Description

The team is a telecommunications team that delivers enterprise connectivity projects.

This is a junior project manager role focused on enterprise access and connectivity. You will help ensure that work is coordinated across operational areas and delivered as the business requires.

The company is a European digital services provider. It works with organizations on technological change through consulting, application services, digital engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, platforms and infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Run enterprise access and circuit projects.
• Lead office relocation projects, from simple to complex.
• Handle FOE projects, including those that go through public tenders.
• Supervise connectivity work on existing access infrastructure. You will not manage the equipment itself.
• Run access and circuit projects for temporary services and events.
• Track progress, risks and dependencies so projects finish on time and at the expected service quality.

Requirements

• Knowledge of physical infrastructure and access support systems.
• Understanding of transmission technologies and data networking, including GPON, Standard ETHA and Secured ETHA.
• Working knowledge of IP networking, covering both IPv4 and IPv6.
• Solid grasp of telecommunications networks.
• Experience with enterprise fibre optic solutions.
• Project management experience in telecommunications or enterprise connectivity.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with corporate information systems is preferred, including NSOM, GEC, Salesforce, ASAP, Nemesis, Netwin, PUV and SIT-e.
