Description

The company's Summer Technology Analyst Program places students in technology teams at a large global financial institution, where they work on projects that affect how banking is delivered.

The technology group has over 30,000 technologists worldwide. It builds scalable, low-latency, high-frequency enterprise systems that support the firm's strategic priorities.

The program starts in early June with an in-depth introduction to the Analyst role and the company's culture, followed by on-the-desk training, a speaker series and networking. Many summer analysts return after graduation as full-time analysts.

Technology work covers digital architecture, customer experience, risk and resilience, and cybersecurity. The chief information security office works to protect the company's and its clients' assets and information.

Team placements differ, but analysts gain exposure to microservices, front-end web development, generative AI and AI agents, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to high-impact projects in digital banking, cybersecurity and data-driven innovation, as well as customer experience improvements.
  • Build microservices using Java, the Spring Framework and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Develop front-end web applications with React or Angular, Apigee, TypeScript and HTML5.
  • Work with generative AI and AI agent tools such as GitHub Copilot, the company Squad, Devin.AI and Stylus Workspaces, including prompt engineering, workflow design and GenAI optimization.
  • Use Splunk, Tableau and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure the business value of delivered products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global projects and learn how technology shapes the financial sector worldwide.
  • Take part in structured learning, mentoring and leadership development alongside networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Be graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in cyber security, information technology, management information systems or another related technology field.
  • Solve problems proactively, enjoy innovation and use generative AI to address complex business problems and build new solutions.
  • Have a global outlook and be willing to work across cultures and time zones.
  • Communicate clearly, manage projects, lead when needed, pay close attention to detail and work well in diverse teams.
  • Pass technical interviews that include basic algorithmic programming exercises.
  • Be collaborative and adaptable.
  • Preferred: a GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Desirable: prior experience working in agile teams.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States of America without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
