Description

You will join the central ContiTech IT Cybersecurity team, which handles cybersecurity for ContiTech worldwide.

The role suits a cybersecurity consultant working in an enterprise setting. Your main focus will be the following areas.

The company is a leading tire manufacturer. ContiTech, its industrial materials sector, has about 20,000 employees at more than 60 sites, and the company as a whole employs around 78,000 people in 54 countries and markets.

Responsibilities

• Advise IT and business teams around the world on IT cybersecurity technologies.
• Follow current technology and cybersecurity trends and report on them.
• Help IT projects find, assess and reduce cybersecurity risks.
• Review and approve cybersecurity service requests.
• Assess and approve the choice of products and services.
• Carry out and support day-to-day cybersecurity operations.
• Help write cybersecurity guidelines and standards.
• Support technical audits, tests and assessments.
• Work with the global IT cybersecurity community to keep improving security.
• Share cybersecurity information with different audiences.

Requirements

• A degree in information technology or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of IT experience in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise IT environments.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, architectures and solutions.
• Knowledge of applications, architecture and technologies across IT, OT and IoT, including encryption, interfaces, and authentication and authorization concepts.
• Familiarity with industry cybersecurity standards such as OWASP.
• Knowledge of operating systems and mobile environments.
• Communication skills that let you explain information clearly to different audiences.
• Interest in current technology and cybersecurity trends.
• Willingness to travel from time to time.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing architecture is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and technologies is a plus.
