Analyst Lead, Cybersecurity

This central cybersecurity role protects the integrity and resilience of the company's environment by combining technical analysis, vulnerability management, incident response, project coordination and stakeholder work.

You will be a trusted subject matter expert who works across technical teams and management, turns complex information into clear next steps, and leads key security processes and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate vulnerability management, planning, communicating and managing vulnerability releases and remediation across teams.
• Support incident response by assessing issues, coordinating stakeholders, keeping information accurate and driving follow-up actions.
• Lead cybersecurity meetings and working sessions so that risks, decisions, dependencies and actions are clear to everyone.
• Write security reports and analysis that give management and technical stakeholders actionable insight.
• Run technical data analysis, including SQL queries, to investigate security data, spot trends and inform decisions.
• Bridge cybersecurity, technical teams, business stakeholders and management by turning technical findings into business context.
• Lead large cybersecurity projects and processes, coordinating priorities, stakeholders, risks, dependencies and outcomes.
• Improve cybersecurity processes, systems, standards and operating practices.
• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across cybersecurity operations and risk management.
• Support vulnerability management, penetration testing, security policies, standards and security architecture decisions.
• Coach junior team members and promote good security practice across teams.

Requirements

• Sponsorship of work visa is unavailable.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, cyber risk management, vulnerability management or a related technical security field.
• Proven experience leading complex cybersecurity projects, processes or initiatives involving several stakeholder groups.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management and security incident response.
• Hands-on data analysis skills, including writing and running SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex, wide-ranging security issues.
• Proven ability to explain technical cybersecurity risks and findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, reporting and project management skills.
• Ability to work largely independently, manage several priorities at once and advise as an expert on complex security challenges.
• Experience giving technical guidance, coaching or mentoring to colleagues.
• Optional: experience supporting penetration testing programs or coordinating remediation of penetration test findings.
• Optional: experience developing or improving cybersecurity policies, standards, processes or controls.
• Optional: experience contributing to security strategy or architecture decisions.
• Optional: experience working in a complex environment where cybersecurity work requires coordination across several technical and business teams.
