Go/Java Senior Software Engineer

You will work with developers who build business solutions used by thousands of engineers, so the tools need to be secure, reliable and easy to use.

Responsibilities

• Write and improve tools that keep the software supply chain secure and reliable, so the company's software stays safe and runs well.
• Apply modern development practices with security built in from the start, and learn DevSecOps and SRE from the team.
• Design solutions that are secure, reliable and able to handle a high number of users, and explain complex security topics along the way.
• Work closely with other development teams to build security into their work.
• Keep up with new trends and technologies for securing software supply chains, with time supported for learning.

Requirements

• You are a strong software engineer who writes reliable code and knows how to build it well.
• You have experience working in an agile team with modern programming languages. Experienced Java or Spring Boot engineers who want to learn Go are encouraged to apply.
• You have worked with cloud or containerised applications using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or AWS, Azure or GCP, or you are keen to learn them.
• You understand how microservices, REST APIs and message systems such as Kafka work, or you are eager to learn more.
• You enjoy working with others on scalable systems, are open to new technologies and like pushing the limits of what is possible.
• You are familiar with cloud-native applications and modern CI/CD tools that use AI.
• You can use independent judgement, work with limited direct supervision, and advise or coach newer or more junior analysts.

Conditions

The role is full time and is based at the company's solutions center in Poland.

The model is hybrid, with up to 2 days a week working from home, in a business casual office.

The base salary is competitive and is potentially offered subject to the final offer, with a primary location range of 241 750,00 zł to 411 650,00 zł.
