Technical Project Manager, Innovation Campus

Description

The role is based in Billund and is a two-year fixed-term contract. The company does not offer relocation.

You will lead the technical side of interior fit-outs, from installing machinery and moving workshops through to commissioning and handover. You will link design, engineering, technology and operations, turn business needs into workable plans, and keep scope, cost, quality and timing under control.

The work sits in Workplace Experience Projects, which delivers the right space at the right time and cost. You will work with the program lead, two project managers, machine-safety specialists, local end users, external technicians and procurement colleagues.

Over the next 12 to 18 months the team will support office expansions, relocations and strategic workplace programs across the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and relocation of machines, equipment and workshops.
• Build integrated delivery plans that cover complex technical interfaces.
• Drive timely decisions and report progress transparently.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and defect resolution.
• Prepare operational spaces for a structured handover to local facilities teams.

Requirements

• You have led projects for 3+ years in machinery and equipment, workplace construction, fit-out, engineering, real estate, oil and gas, or wind power.
• You have coordinated technical integration across machinery, equipment, building services, information technology, audiovisual systems, security and operations.
• You have owned project controls for scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and change.
• You have written structured project plans that set out technical interfaces, responsibilities, dependencies and delivery activities.
• You have managed testing, commissioning, defect resolution and technical handover for safe, compliant, operational environments.
• You have managed procurement, suppliers, contracts and costs across multidisciplinary technical projects.
• Nice to have: you have used artificial intelligence to build templates or project plans, assess risks, or support time management.

Conditions

Two-year fixed-term contract based in Billund.

No relocation support.
