Description

The company's legal team works inside its own platform, handling NDAs, procurement contracts, conflict checks and requests for legal advice.

You will own a set of AI and platform initiatives for the legal technology team, which sits in the Global Business Services Experience group. The aim is to free up attorneys and legal staff, cut the volume of routine requests reaching them, answer the remaining requests sooner, and structure legal data so AI agents can use it.

Rather than writing specs and passing them to engineering, you will build prototypes, test what works, and work with the Product organization to turn the strongest results into customer features.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a roadmap spanning several quarters for legal AI and platform work across the contract management product, legal service delivery, and connected systems.
  • Break each quarter into epics, then move work through iterative build, testing and production release.
  • Write epics, user stories, technical spikes, acceptance criteria and solution approach documents that engineers can work from.
  • Rank a crowded backlog, explain the trade-offs, and decline requests when needed.
  • Run discovery with legal and business teams, find workflow gaps, and turn them into ranked product requirements with measurable results.
  • Design and ship AI agents for legal tasks such as advice and counsel recommendations, redlining contracts against standard terms, request intake and triage, and contract review.
  • Decide how agents get knowledge, when people check their output, and how their feedback is used to improve them.
  • Favor the platform's built-in AI features, building custom solutions only where the platform falls short.
  • Build quick prototypes to check AI performance and secure stakeholder sign-off before a full build.
  • Ensure anything going to production passes engineering review and hardening.
  • Set evaluation criteria, test sets and pass thresholds before any AI feature ships.
  • Compare models and vendors without tying the team to one model or provider.
  • Build and maintain value models covering hours saved, request volume and cycle time, and report AI impact to senior leadership monthly and quarterly.
  • Set baselines and track adoption, cycle time, quality and realized productivity gains after launch.
  • Work with the Product organization to shape and validate enhancements for possible inclusion in customer-facing releases.
  • Bring feedback from the internal legal team into product roadmaps.
  • Get Legal, Procurement, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Digital Technology aligned on shared priorities.
  • Work with business process managers and engineers in a shared delivery model.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in technical product management, including owning a roadmap that spans several quarters.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Experience shipping generative or agentic AI features, including LLM behavior, retrieval and prompt design.
  • Experience defining evaluation methods for AI applications, covering output quality, groundedness, task completion and appropriate human review.
  • Experience on agile teams writing epics and user stories that engineers can build from.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with executives, summarizing portfolio status, value and risk in a few slides.
  • Strong stakeholder management across legal, business and technical teams.
  • Preferred: Experience with the company's contract management product or legal service delivery.
  • Preferred: Experience with legal, contract or procurement workflows.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Now Assist or the company AI Agents.
  • Preferred: Experience with other contract lifecycle management or legal AI platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience co-developing with a product organization or acting as a design partner for a software product.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI-native or prototype-first development.
