Description

The company is a large healthcare organization, and this team builds the shared platform and AI capabilities that let CoverMyMeds ship role-based digital products quickly, securely and at scale.

The team builds the foundational services, experiences and technology patterns used by multiple products across the organization, with a focus on reliability, compliance and reuse.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for role-based digital workspaces that bring together workflows, communications, data and AI-powered assistance.
  • Run user discovery with internal and external stakeholders to find pain points and turn what you learn into prioritized product investments.
  • Plan and deliver in phases through MVPs, pilots and scalable releases that deliver user value and make platform components reusable.
  • Define requirements for shared platform services, such as API management, backend-for-frontend (BFF) services, event-driven integrations and identity and access management.
  • Manage APIs and platform capabilities as products, setting clear service definitions, documentation, adoption plans and performance expectations.
  • Guide modernization so legacy and cloud-native systems can run together with minimal disruption to the business.
  • Define requirements for reusable communication services covering SMS, email, fax, voice and chat.
  • Shape and deliver AI solutions such as conversational AI, virtual agents, knowledge search, question-answering tools, document AI and generative AI assistants.
  • Define and track success metrics such as containment rates, accuracy, operational efficiency, time savings and business impact.
  • Work with engineering, data science, security and compliance teams so AI solutions are governed, explainable and suited to regulated environments.
  • Work with data teams to define data models, pipelines and trusted data sources for products, analytics and AI.
  • Build privacy, security and data-governance requirements into every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Work in a SAFe environment by writing epics, features and user stories, and take part in PI Planning and dependency management.
  • Bring product priorities into architecture and governance reviews, and explain technical decisions in business terms.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, planning, documentation and product delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering digital products, platform products, APIs or internal tooling.
  • Strong understanding of modern architecture, including APIs, API gateways, microservices, BFF architectures, event-driven systems, cloud platforms and identity and access management.
  • Experience launching and managing AI or machine learning capabilities, such as conversational AI, generative AI assistants, document processing or intelligent automation.
  • Proven record of leading legacy modernization through phased migration.
  • Strong skills in product discovery, roadmap prioritization, stakeholder management and agile delivery.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with executives and technical teams alike.
  • Track record of using data and analytics to guide decisions and measure results.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve your own productivity and product management practice.
  • Preferred: experience in healthcare, pharmacy or another highly regulated industry.
  • Preferred: knowledge of HIPAA, privacy regulations, security controls and data-governance requirements.
  • Preferred: experience with telephony, contact center or omnichannel communication platforms.
  • Preferred: familiarity with data platforms, analytics ecosystems and modern data engineering tools such as Databricks.
  • Preferred: experience delivering enterprise-scale platform products that support multiple teams and business functions.
