Description

The company makes a Smart Hospital Platform that helps health systems cut costs, work more efficiently, and improve patient care. It uses NVIDIA GPUs, voice-activated sensors, and computer vision for real-time observation, virtual nursing, and automated documentation inside the EHR. The platform is used by more than 400 hospitals across 30 health systems, with reported results including over 50% fewer patient falls, lower nurse turnover, and millions saved each year.

This is a contract role leading on-site installation and testing of the company's technology in hospitals and other healthcare settings. You will still do hands-on installation, testing, and validation yourself. You report to the Sr. Technical Delivery Lead and manage a team of 3 to 5 contractors, keeping work within the approved technical approach and deployment standards while limiting disruption to patient care.

The role is fully on-site in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3 to 5 contractors by assigning daily tasks and locations, giving technical direction, and tracking progress, quality, and pace
  • Hold a daily stand-up and report progress, problems, and finished work to the Sr. Technical Delivery Lead
  • Be the team's first contact for technical problems, site readiness concerns, and blockers, before anything goes up the chain
  • Check that the team has finished required training, credentialing, and site access steps before deployment, and hold them to safety and quality standards
  • Receive, inventory, inspect, and stage equipment yourself or oversee others doing it, and flag anything damaged, missing, or wrong
  • Install All-In-One (AIO) devices, cameras, and accessories, including power, network, display, and peripheral cabling with tidy cable management, and check your team's installs for accuracy
  • Carry out or supervise rip-and-replace work and decommissioning of old equipment
  • Test and validate installs, covering device connectivity, camera and PTZ function, two-way audio, room views, and supported workflows
  • Review team documentation, trackers, install photos, and QA checklists for completeness, and record serial numbers, asset tags, and locations
  • When the Sr. Technical Delivery Lead is unavailable, serve as the on-site technical contact for clinical, facilities, and IT staff, and enforce all safety, privacy, and infection prevention rules

Requirements

  • An associate degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 5+ years in technical deployments, field services, desktop support, or hardware implementation
  • Experience leading and directing a team of 3 to 5 people on technical work
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting endpoint devices, cameras, peripherals, and network-connected technology
  • Willingness to follow and enforce deployment procedures, work instructions, and installation standards
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, and the ability to hold a team to standards and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel-based tracking tools, and collaboration platforms
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+, or equivalent (required)
  • Preferred: healthcare or hospital deployment experience
  • Preferred: audio/video or telehealth systems experience
  • Preferred: ServiceNow or asset management tool experience
  • Preferred: certifications beyond A+ and Network+
  • Preferred: lead or crew-chief experience on large-scale refresh projects
  • You must supply and maintain a laptop that can run project documentation, deployment tracking, reporting, communication, and collaboration applications
  • You must have reliable transportation to reach assigned hospitals, clinics, staging locations, and project sites
  • You must keep a mobile phone for project communication and emergency contact
  • You must be able to reach email, project documentation, and deployment tracking systems throughout the engagement
  • You must be able to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • You must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move equipment through healthcare facilities for long periods
  • You must be able to use ladders and work at height when installation requires it
  • You must be able to work on site for the full length of your assigned project

Conditions

This is a contract position, and the company decides employment on each deployment project based on your meeting all customer and site-specific access requirements

These may include background checks, drug screening, immunization verification, vendor credentialing, security awareness training, confidentiality agreements, badging, infection prevention training, and other onboarding steps the customer sets

Medical or religious accommodation requests related to these requirements will be considered as required by law

You must stay compliant with all applicable requirements for the whole engagement
