Technical Business Analyst - Credit Cards

As Technical Business Analyst, you turn business goals into functional specifications that Product, Engineering and Architecture can build from, aiming at faster delivery, more card use and better customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Turn product goals into user stories, functional specifications and testable acceptance criteria that engineers can build from directly.
• Review API contracts, JSON payloads and integration patterns to confirm features are feasible and that services behave reliably together.
• Map current and target card processes and system interactions to guide design and reduce ambiguity.
• Run backlog refinement and pre-grooming sessions so work is sprint-ready and fewer questions come up during build.
• Spot technical dependencies, regulatory limits and integration risks early, and work with Architects and Compliance on mitigation.
• Build reusable analysis documents, API guidance and patterns for teams to adopt.
• Use AI to speed up drafting, validation and requirement coverage, with human review and governance.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or similar role in product delivery teams.
• Proven experience working in Agile software teams and supporting Product Owners with backlog refinement.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, user story writing and producing acceptance criteria ready for implementation.
• Solid grasp of API-first development, REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications, with proven experience analysing payloads and integration flows.
• Experience working with Software Architects and Backend Engineers on integration-heavy systems.
• Experience modelling business processes and system interactions.
• Fluent English. Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Experience in payments, cards or financial services is a strong advantage. Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts is beneficial.
