Talent Acquisition Manager, Operations

Description

You will lead and grow the talent acquisition function as an Operations Recruiting Manager, combining workforce strategy with hands-on hiring.

You will manage a team of recruiters and work closely with department leaders to attract strong candidates for the company's Operations business.

The company is an enterprise technology business in logistics. It offers end-to-end logistics applications, managed services and a large carrier network, manages nearly $20B of freight, and serves 1 in 3 Fortune 500 companies, including Del Monte Foods, Nestle and Anheuser-Busch InBev. It is backed by top-tier investors.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach and develop a team of recruiters so they meet their goals and get better at hiring.
• Work with executives and cross-functional leaders to forecast headcount, set hiring expectations and agree on priorities.
• Standardize recruiting workflows, applicant tracking system processes and interview standards to give candidates a fast, fair and high-quality experience.
• Use recruiting analytics such as Time-to-Hire, offer acceptance rate and funnel conversion to guide stakeholders, measure hiring quality and improve operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of recruiting experience.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
• A record of using data to shape recruiting strategy and persuade business leaders.
• Experience building, managing and hiring teams.
• Experience at a transportation or logistics company, with knowledge of logistics operations departments.
• Preferred: successful project management, delivering work streams on high-priority projects.
• Preferred: experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS and hiring platforms such as Greenhouse, Oracle and LinkedIn Talent Insights.
• Preferred: strength in attracting, leading and motivating a recruiting team.
• Preferred: experience building trusted, value-adding partnerships across regions.
• Preferred: ability to solve problems and think creatively.

Illinois: the salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000 a year.
