This is a Talent Acquisition Associate role on the Commercial and Sales side in North America, based in Toronto.

As a TA Partner, you will help new hires settle in from their first day and make the candidate journey smooth.

The role suits someone moving from agency recruitment to in-house, or someone who wants to build an international in-house TA career in fintech.

  • Find candidates on LinkedIn and other social networks.
  • Review CVs and applications.
  • Judge each applicant's knowledge, skills, experience and behaviours through interviews and other reliable selection methods.
  • Keep candidates informed and engaged, set clear expectations, and negotiate at the offer stage.
  • Give every candidate a positive experience, whatever the result.
  • Learn what each team needs so you can match the right person to each open role.
  • Build working relationships with internal stakeholders at every level across the company.
  • Manage calendars and arrange interviews.
  • Keep candidate records accurate in Greenhouse, the recruitment system.

Requirements

  • Previous recruitment experience, either in an agency or in-house or TA.
  • Experience recruiting for sales or commercial roles.
  • Experience recruiting across North America.
  • Your first priority will be the commercial team, but you may also support wider recruitment needs across the business.
  • Recruitment experience in financial services is beneficial.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential for working in an international team.
  • Other languages, especially Spanish, are an advantage.
  • You are well organised and can work on your own.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A service-focused approach.
  • A flexible attitude and the ability to keep up with a fast pace.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in the Toronto office: 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home each week.

The office is in central Toronto and is well served by public transport.

Hiring decisions, including application reviews, shortlisting and final selection, are made by human recruiters and hiring managers. Automated tools are used only for administrative tasks.

The company welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and treats discrimination in any form as unacceptable.
