Description

The company is a growth-stage software business that helps manufacturers reach, organize and use real-time data from machines, systems and sensors at the edge.

Its platform joins edge computing, AI and industrial operations, and large customers use it to run live operations, cut downtime and improve production.

AI depends on real-world, contextualized data, yet most industrial sites still cannot access or use their operational data. The company is closing that gap.

Backed by major investors, it works with global manufacturers and partners including Google, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle and Mitsubishi as the industry shifts toward software-defined manufacturing.

The role sits on the new global Talent team, which is growing across Europe, Toronto and India. You will run full-cycle searches for technical and go-to-market roles, working with hiring managers in engineering, product, data and AI, sales, marketing and customer success as the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruiting for roles in North American time zones, from kickoff until the offer is closed.
  • Handle many open roles at the same time across technical and GTM teams.
  • Find active and passive candidates and build pipelines for current and future openings.
  • Work with hiring managers to set role requirements, create scorecards and run structured interview processes.
  • Share practices with the Talent teams in Europe and India and help create consistent, scalable processes.
  • Use AI tools and automation to speed up sourcing, screening and recruiting work.
  • Keep Ashby data clean, pipeline reports accurate and the candidate experience consistent.
  • Help shape the company's employer brand and the offer it makes to candidates.
  • Own offer management and coordinate pre-hire steps and handoffs with People Ops.
  • Track time-to-fill, pipeline health and source effectiveness, and share market insights with hiring managers and leadership.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including time at a high-growth startup or scale-up.
  • Have managed high-volume hiring in a startup setting.
  • Have a strong record hiring technical roles (engineering, data, AI/ML, product) and GTM roles (sales, marketing, customer success).
  • Be skilled at sourcing and at engaging passive candidates.
  • Have hired in North America, in Canada and/or the US.
  • Have hands-on experience using Ashby as your primary ATS.
  • Use AI tools and recruiting automation to work more efficiently and produce more.
  • Be able to influence hiring managers and earn their trust.
  • Communicate clearly and assess candidates well in interviews.
  • Work independently and stay organized in a fast-moving setting where some things are still undefined.
  • Have a background in B2B SaaS, industrial technology, manufacturing technology, IoT or AI companies.
  • Have worked on a distributed or global recruiting team.
  • Have supported senior or leadership-level searches.

Conditions

The role is based in Toronto and covers North American time zones.

You will join a new global Talent team that spans Europe, Toronto and India.

Benefits

  • Help build the infrastructure that lets real-time data power AI and machine learning in production environments.
  • Tackle problems where software meets the physical world, such as distributed systems, real-time data and industrial limits where reliability, scale and performance are essential.
  • Ship work that real customers use in production, with ownership and visibility into how the product and company develop as they grow.
  • Work alongside experienced operators and engineers who have built this before and are doing it again at scale, on a team that sets a high bar and pushes each other.
  • The team is collaborative, curious and low ego, values empathy as much as execution, and moves quickly through work that is not fully defined yet.
