Description

The company is a global technology and professional services firm serving major agencies across the U.S. government, defense and intelligence community, with 26,000 staff working in AI, cloud, cyber and software development in more than 50 countries.

As a systems engineer you will design, build and connect complex work systems through every stage of their lifecycle while shaping the long-term technical direction.

  • Factor existing tools and capabilities into any evaluation of new ones.

Requirements

  • Hold a BS in computer engineering, computer science or a related technology field. Relevant experience can replace the degree.
  • Bring at least 8 years of related technical experience.
  • Hold an active Top Secret clearance now and be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI. No public trust or other clearance is required.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Have built ways to deploy development environments that mirror production, so software and hardware can be tested with less risk.
  • Diagnose complex hardware and software faults.
  • Apply DevOps, DevSecOps or GitOps practices.
  • Understand protocols including DNS, HTTP, LDAP, ICMP, SSH and SNMP well.
  • Understand networking well, including VLANs, firewalls, load balancers and addressing schemes.
