  • Write integration strategies, V&V plans, and detailed system and subsystem test plans and procedures.
  • Use modeling and simulation, analytical tools and MBSE artifacts to inform design choices and trade studies.
  • Find technical risks and opportunities, then build and track mitigation plans.
  • Present technical approaches, status and results to internal leadership and external customers.
  • Contribute to proposals, basis-of-estimate work and technical volumes for new business or contract modifications.

Requirements

  • An active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time you apply.
  • Experience with system requirements and interface control documents (ICDs).
  • Ability to analyze, allocate and trace requirements from high-level needs down to components and services.
  • Ability to specify and validate requirements for build, deployment and rollback processes in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation, including requirements, interface specifications, sequence diagrams and data flow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with reading, creating and interpreting CAMEO, DOORS or MBSE models.
  • Preferred: experience in systems engineering for distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
  • Preferred: familiarity with network security for container and cloud deployments, including TLS, certificates and secrets management.
  • Preferred: familiarity with service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd in Kubernetes environments.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or JIRA and Confluence workflows.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with modeling, simulation or MBSE tools such as SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with test automation, test management tools or lab integration environments.
  • Preferred: strong customer interaction and presentation skills.
  • Preferred: experience working with government or prime customers, including design and test reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR and TRR.
  • Preferred: a systems engineering certification such as INCOSE ASEP, CSEP or ESEP, or a PMP certification, is a plus.
