Description

This role sits within the NAM Private Bank marketing team and combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will report to the NAM Head of Marketing.

The team is moving from mainly event-led work to a fuller, multi-channel approach. You will help lead that shift and act on your own initiative.

This is more than execution. You bring curiosity about markets, business sense and creative ideas. You can shape the thought leadership plan, choose strong speakers and themes, and turn complex financial topics into material clients find useful. You can run a flagship ultra-high-net-worth client event and also contribute to digital content strategy.

You need a solid background in financial services and a wide marketing skill set across events, content and digital, plus the drive to go beyond delivery. You will work with senior business leaders, investment teams and global marketing colleagues to keep every initiative deliberate, distinct and tied to the Private Bank's growth goals across NAM.

You will support all existing NAM Private Bank marketing work and the Private Bank business in the Western Region, helping shape regional marketing strategy and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Thought leadership: set the direction for the NAM Private Bank's thought leadership, choose content themes, select internal and external speakers, and design event agendas with fresh angles. Turn market and investment views into client-ready material across panels, roundtables, white papers and digital.
  • Event delivery: manage every stage of client and prospect events in your region and across NAM, from concept and invitations through compliance review, logistics, venue and menu, on-site hosting, budget and follow-up. Use the Salesforce CRM to target guests and track relationships.
  • Digital and social: help plan the NAM Private Bank's social and digital strategy, build content calendars, pick topics and formats, and work with global digital teams to keep the brand voice consistent and credible on LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Performance tracking: measure results such as event attendance, client engagement, pipeline support and digital numbers. Use feedback and data to improve practice and show senior stakeholders what marketing delivers.
  • Senior briefings: prepare detailed briefings for senior management and business leaders for client and event meetings, so discussions are productive and match wider business strategy. Act as a trusted marketing partner to bankers, investment teams and product specialists across the region, NAM and Western leadership.
  • Market research: benchmark competitors, track trends and find ways to stand out in ultra-high-net-worth private banking marketing. Suggest new approaches to the team.
  • Compliance and risk: build legal, regulatory and compliance requirements into all marketing. Work with legal and compliance to keep content, events and campaigns within laws, internal policy and regional rules. Judge risk carefully, protect the firm's reputation and clients, act ethically, and raise and report control issues openly.

Requirements

  • Significant marketing experience in financial services, private banking or wealth management; 10+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance, communications or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Track record building thought leadership programs, finding speakers, topics and formats that suit sophisticated ultra-high-net-worth audiences.
  • Working knowledge across events, content strategy, social media and digital channels.
  • Solid grasp of financial products, services and the ultra-high-net-worth client market.
  • Able to coach junior colleagues and work well across functions.
  • Very organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle several priorities at once.
  • Works well with little supervision, showing ownership, accountability and sound judgment.
  • Highly motivated, spotting opportunities and driving initiatives alone.
  • Creative, able to turn complex financial stories into distinct client experiences.
  • Clear written and spoken communication; confident presenting to and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Able to influence people at every level and build cross-functional ties in a matrixed organization.
  • Able to define and monitor KPIs that show marketing effectiveness and return.
  • Experience in a matrixed, regulated setting across several markets.
  • Proficient with CRM tools such as Salesforce and digital marketing platforms.
  • Adaptable and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Willing to travel about 20% of the time across NAM markets.
