Copy & Content Manager (12 month FTC)

Description

The company is a major UK financial services group and global investor, supporting around c.12.8 million policyholders and workplace members through retirement and protection products.

You would join the Workplace Savings team to produce clear, useful and engaging communications for members, across digital and offline channels.

The role turns complicated information into content people can understand and act on, combining copywriting, content management, stakeholder work and a focus on good customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Write plain, jargon-free copy for emails, web pages, digital tools and customer journeys.
• Shape content approaches that serve customer and business priorities.
• Own content from creation to retirement, keeping it accurate and current.
• Work with compliance and Advertising Standards colleagues so communications are clear, fair and suitable.
• Partner with product teams to make features and benefits easy for customers to grasp.
• Support digital and offline communications, including email and direct mail campaigns.
• Make sure communications give customers what they need to make informed choices.
• Promote accessible, customer-first writing and share best practice across the team.

Requirements

• Strong experience writing and managing customer-facing content across digital channels.
• Skill at turning complex subjects into straightforward, accessible language.
• Experience working with compliance, legal or other governance stakeholders on customer communications.
• Experience developing content that meets customer and business goals.
• Confidence working alongside product, marketing and design colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
• An understanding of digital content strategy and customer engagement.
• Experience in financial services, pensions, workplace savings, CMS or regulated communications would be valuable.

Conditions

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

The company is open to discussing flexible working, including part-time and job shares, though some roles have limited flexibility due to customer demand and requests are accommodated where possible.
