Description

The company builds legal data intelligence software that helps users organize data, find what matters, and act on it. Its AI-powered cloud platform, RelativityOne, turns large volumes of complex information into insights for litigation, investigations, regulatory inquiries, data breach responses, and other high-stakes legal work. Customers include large law firms, corporations, and government agencies.

The Engineering Platform team builds the frameworks, services, and infrastructure that every product team relies on. It supports scalable delivery through shared platforms, frontend frameworks, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a hybrid, full-stack Staff Software Engineer role with the main focus on frontend work inside the Engineering Platform team. You will own the frontend domain, including the Micro Frontend strategy, the platform's frontend frameworks, and shared frontend infrastructure, while also working on backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. You will set architecture from the browser down to the backend and raise engineering standards across several teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design distributed, scalable, and secure full-stack cloud services that process petabytes of data each week.
  • Own architecture and implementation, and shape how engineering teams execute.
  • Solve hard cross-organization technical problems through deep expertise, collaboration, and hands-on coding.
  • Give technical direction across frontend, backend, and data layers.
  • Work with teams, peers, and principal engineers on architecture and system design.
  • Work with engineering teams on complex technical and business problems.
  • Build AI-powered legal data solutions at very large scale.
  • Set engineering standards for performance, scalability, reliability, and security across teams.
  • Run design and code reviews, set best practices and documented standards, and coach engineers.
  • Line up technical work with product strategy and delivery commitments.
  • Find and remove technical and operational friction.
  • Mentor senior and lead engineers and shape technical decisions and engineering culture.
  • Own and evolve the frontend platform, including the Micro Frontend strategy, platform frontend frameworks, shared infrastructure, and reusable component libraries.
  • Make frontend capabilities modular and deployable on their own across product teams.
  • Design and build backend services, APIs, and integration layers that support the frontend platform.
  • Lead backend engineering and infrastructure practices across the platform, covering CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, reliability, and security.
  • Keep the platform consistent in accessibility (WCAG) and performance.
  • Work with UX teams on the design system and component libraries.
  • Set frontend standards for testing, observability, and performance, including lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and CDN use.

Requirements

  • 10+ years designing, building, and running complex cloud-native distributed systems.
  • Proven technical leadership across multiple teams or domains.
  • Strong grounding in architecture, security, and reliability at scale.
  • Ability to set technical direction and align several teams.
  • Experience turning business goals into technical strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence people without formal authority.
  • Strong mentoring and technical communication skills.
  • Deep frontend expertise in TypeScript and modern React.
  • Proven experience designing Micro Frontend architectures, module federation, and integration patterns at scale.
  • Experience managing component versions and shared dependencies.

Conditions

Hybrid work.

The company pays competitively and aims for fair, equitable compensation.

Total compensation includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

Expected salary range: 340 000 to 510 000 PLN.

The final offer depends on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Offers at the top of the range are unusual, to leave room for salary growth in the role.

Equal opportunity: the company values diverse perspectives.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, benefits, DTO, parental leave, and equity program.
