  • Lead the development of RAM Decks for gas turbine systems.
  • Watch field and shop data for early signs of emerging fleet issues or declining MYA productivity.
  • Combine component-level Weibull failure mode models using a range of simulation methods to predict risk at the unit and fleet level across different operating scenarios.
  • Work with MYA Systems Engineering, Repair Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Service, and Product Line Management to agree on reliability priorities and deliverables.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers on industry and product knowledge.

  • Desired: You can take an assignment from planning through documentation and delivery with limited supervision.
  • Desired: Engineering design experience on gas turbine flange-to-flange equipment such as the turbine, combustion system, compressor, or rotor.
  • Desired: Experience in power plant design, operations, or maintenance, with solid knowledge of balance of plant equipment.
  • Desired: Experience working in a global, cross-functional engineering organization.
  • Desired: Ability to juggle several projects at once and adjust quickly when business priorities shift.
  • Desired: Hands-on familiarity with RAMDeck or MINI.
  • Desired: Programming skills in VB, JSL, Python, R, or another modern language.
  • Desired: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Desired: Proven ability to plan, document, and deliver programs with solid project management.
