Responsibilities

  • Act as the top technical expert for the most complex customer accounts in your region, guiding how those customers consume the platform and where they spend.
  • Build and maintain senior technical relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on enterprise data and AI strategy.
  • Lead the hardest architecture work, including multi-workload platforms, company-wide migrations, real-time systems, and AI and ML at scale.
  • Serve as an expert on the company Platform in your declared specialization, mentoring colleagues and spreading your impact across the team.

  • Share expertise through customer content, workshops, and community work that shapes Field Engineering's thinking.

Requirements

  • Expert-level Python and SQL; Spark or PySpark is a plus. Expect a live coding test and a platform build during interviews.
  • Deep enterprise data architecture skills: distributed systems at scale, streaming and real-time work, lakehouse patterns, data governance, and cloud-native platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of the company Platform, or equal depth in a competing platform with proof that you learn quickly.
  • A declared technical specialization with real depth, such as real-time architectures, ML and AI platforms, data governance, large-scale migrations, or industry-specific solutions.
  • A record of growing consumption and driving platform adoption in large accounts.
  • Executive presence to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level leaders on long-term data and AI strategy.
  • Experience leading competitive displacements and complex enterprise evaluations.
  • Strong strategic thinking that links architecture decisions to business results and revenue.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees are valued.
  • The company certifications are a plus.

  • Published thought leadership such as blogs, conference talks, or open source contributions is a plus.
  • Industry vertical expertise with executive-level domain credibility is a plus.
  • Interview stages: recruiter screen, hiring manager screen, design and architecture interview, live coding assessment, build, demo and pitch presentation, then reference check.
