Description

The Access Security team builds the intelligence layer for the company Veza Identity product. It helps enterprises find who and what can reach critical resources, and decide what to do about it.

The team turns complex identity and access data into clear product experiences. Customers use them to spot risky access, rank fixes, and cut exposure before an incident occurs.

This is a full stack Senior Software Engineer role. You will design, build, improve, and maintain Access Security features that apply AI to access intelligence, risk detection, and remediation flows.

You will work with cross-functional teams on complete product experiences. The work spans React interfaces, API design, and backend services plus AI-assisted workflows, all of which must run reliably in enterprise settings. The role calls for Go, Python, JavaScript, and React, hands-on AI integration, and ownership across the whole development lifecycle.

As a full stack engineer, you will shape both the interface and the services behind it. You will turn complex access data into simple workflows, fast screens, and dependable APIs that move security teams from insight to action.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product, design, and engineering leads to define experiences that weigh customer value, usability, technical depth, performance, and business impact.
  • Promote responsible use of LLM frameworks, AI agents, and AI-driven access intelligence to build distinctive enterprise capabilities for identity and access.
  • Research new technologies and identity and access management patterns that add customer value and improve resilience, scalability, and performance.
  • Take part in every technical part of team work, including architecture, design, quality, performance, maintainability, and code review.
  • Build automated testing into development workflows so quality holds across releases.
  • Design and build clear, fast user interfaces that let customers investigate access risk, understand recommendations, and act on remediation with confidence.
  • Improve engineering practices by raising quality bars and driving steady gains in testing, reliability, and production readiness.
  • Own features end to end, from early discovery and architecture through implementation, release, operational monitoring, and ongoing stability.
  • The role puts you at the crossover of identity security, AI, and full stack product work, with real influence over technical direction, customer-facing experiences, and how enterprises understand and fix access risk.

Requirements

  • Practical experience putting AI, ML, or LLM features into production workflows, such as decision support, risk analysis, automation, or security-focused access intelligence.
  • 8+ years of full stack development, with hands-on work on complex enterprise production software on both frontend and backend.
  • Strong skill in Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript, plus other languages such as Python or Java, and the judgment to make sound architecture decisions across frontend and backend.
  • Solid modern frontend practice, covering component design, state management, accessibility, observability, and frontend performance tuning.
  • Expert in designing and building RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs. Proficient in data modeling, SQL, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and graph technologies.
  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Proven record of taking solutions from concept to launch end to end.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Domain expertise: prior work in IAM, IGA, or PAM solutions.
  • Cloud and DevOps: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Artificial intelligence: hands-on familiarity with current LLM frameworks and provider libraries such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
  • Quality and testing: familiarity with automated testing frameworks and with adding tests to CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mindset: a strong sense of ownership and customer focus, a real interest in user experience, and a habit of keeping up with new technology and industry trends.
