Sign Up to ReadThe company is a cybersecurity leader that protects the people, processes and technology of modern organizations. Since 2011 it has stopped breaches with an AI-native platform, and it serves customers in all industries.
The team builds large-scale distributed systems that handle almost 3 trillion events per day, and that volume grows every day.
Staff are expected to help build a culture of responsible AI use, experimentation and innovation, applying an AI-first approach to move faster, learn and solve hard problems.
The team's product gives all users of the company's core platform orchestration and workflow capabilities. It also gives partners plug-and-play access to core building blocks and key feature components.
Customers use the product to automate 80% of breach remediation actions. It is a tier one offering and one of the most heavily used products in the suite. It also runs the workflows of a sibling product, which lets users build custom security apps by choosing options from dropdown menus through exposed APIs. The team is now connecting it to agentic workflow development to extend next-gen SIEM functionality.
The role is a Senior to Principal (Level 7) backend software engineer position. You will be an experienced backend microservices developer with cloud engineering knowledge, experience designing and building user-facing features or expertise in fine-grained auth, and a track record of custom API development and high-scale event processing on a message queue such as Kafka. Careful attention to performance, reliability and scalability matters most here.
