Sr Program Manager

Description

The company has operated for more than 25 years and serves customers in about 200 markets, running a two-sided network that links hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers, both online and in person.

Consumers can buy, get paid, transfer and withdraw funds through accounts that accept many funding sources, including bank accounts, balances, cards, certain cryptocurrencies and stored value products. Merchants get end-to-end payment processing, quicker access to funds, and tools for customer engagement, returns and risk. The company also supports cross-border trade and sending money to friends and family.

This senior role manages several projects at once, keeping them aligned with company goals and delivering strategic initiatives. Scope covers internal, information-system-specific or non-technical project work, seen from an internal customer's point of view, from kickoff through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and run program plans and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams and third-party contractors.
• Spot risks early and plan how to reduce them.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Advise project managers on strategy.
• Build and maintain strong ties with key stakeholders.
• Coach junior project managers.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

Conditions

Base pay depends on work location, relevant experience and expertise. For San Jose, California, the range is $129,500.00 to $191,950.00 per year. No other locations are currently assigned to this requisition.

Additional pay may include an annual performance bonus, equity or other incentive compensation, where applicable.

Travel is not required for this role.

The hybrid schedule is 3 days in the office and 2 days at your choice of office or home.
