Program Manager

Description

The company has run its payments business for more than 25 years and operates in about 200 markets.

It runs a global, two-sided network that links hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers, whether they transact online or in person.

Consumers can pay with bank accounts, the company or Venmo balances, credit and debit cards, certain cryptocurrencies, stored value products, and eligible card rewards, and merchants get end-to-end payment processing, fast access to funds, and tools for risk and returns.

The role sits on the team that handles internal information system projects and non-technical project work from an internal customer viewpoint, usually from start to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan each day's work around organizational goals.
• Create and launch new programs that advance company objectives.
• Track projects and direct the project managers who run them.
• Judge where programs are strong and where they fall short.
• Build program budgets and plans.
• Meet stakeholders to review program progress and goals.
• Refine strategies together with the marketing team.
• You will coordinate related projects so they support one another and meet business targets.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Preferred: working proficiency in project management software tools.
• Preferred: expertise in credit risk, fraud, and/or compliance decision modeling.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role: 3 days a week in the office for in-person teamwork, and 2 days a week at either the office or your home workspace.

Travel is 0 percent of the time.

Base pay varies by location, experience, and expertise. San Jose, California: $109,000.00 to $156,200.00 per year. Chicago, Illinois and Austin, Texas: $95,500.00 to $141,900.00 per year.

Total pay may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, where applicable.
