Description

The company's Media Group runs several consumer brands, including Peacock, NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports and NBCU International, and the teams across them share work and learn from each other.

This Senior Product Manager owns the CDP product area within the Customer Experience Platform Martech team. The CDP is a shared global platform that provides the identity and audience data layer for Peacock, SkyShowtime and NOW.

This is an individual contributor role with high ownership. Solutions must be designed globally first so they scale across all applications rather than serving one product.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for CDP requests from the Peacock, SkyShowtime and NOW MarTech and marketing teams, and own every incoming request.
  • Spot data quality and data collection gaps early and propose fixes that support lifecycle and marketing operations at scale.
  • Turn stakeholder needs into clear platform requirements that work across all three products, not only the one that asked.
  • Own and prioritize the backlog, weighing urgency against platform impact and engineering capacity.
  • Keep documentation and roadmap status current and visible to all partners.
  • Work with Decision Science and Engineering to define business requirements for platform instrumentation, such as event schemas, platform events and data capture, aligned to global standards and ranked by business need.
  • Work with Decision Science on pipeline requirements, new attribute builds and feed delivery so data reaches downstream systems correctly.
  • Coordinate delivery milestones, testing and QA sign-off, linking marketing stakeholders with the technical teams that build and run the platform.

Requirements

  • You have significant product management experience, including hands-on work in a CDP, data platform or martech infrastructure setting in a requirements, product or delivery coordination role.
  • You have working knowledge of at least one enterprise CDP, such as mParticle, Segment, Adobe CJA or Tealium, enough to turn business needs into platform requirements and talk with technical teams.
  • You understand platform event schemas, identity resolution, audience segmentation and data feed architecture.
  • You have a record of working with engineering on instrumentation and with data engineering on pipelines and attributes.
  • Experience with downstream activation tools (Braze, Branch, Adtech) and Snowflake data warehouses is a strong plus.
  • You have worked in Agile or SCRUM software development teams.
  • A streaming, subscription or B2C consumer product background is preferred.
  • You hold a BS or BA. A technical or data-adjacent background is a plus.
  • You can take in and rank requirements from several marketing stakeholders with competing products and deadlines.
  • You design for global, multi-product scale rather than solving one product at a time.
  • You put marketing and growth teams first, and dig into the real need behind each request.
  • You weigh short-term delivery against long-term platform health.
  • You work well in a matrixed setting, aligning engineering, data and marketing stakeholders at different seniority levels.
  • You understand technology well enough to engage with engineering and data engineering without owning the platform.
  • You adjust quickly when priorities shift across a global, multi-product organization.
  • You manage several workstreams at once on tight schedules.
  • You bring a positive, collaborative attitude to a fast-moving streaming business.
