  • Balance people leadership with hands-on design, staying close enough to the details to lead by example.
  • Keep a critical eye and pay close attention to detail.

Requirements

  • A degree in design, computer science or human factors, or equivalent work experience.

  • A strong portfolio covering web, mobile and digital media.
  • Deep knowledge of cross-platform usability standards and UI specifications.
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms such as Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, Apple TV and X1.
  • Experience with accessibility, localization and internationalization best practices.
  • Seasoned design and people leadership, with high standards across UX and product design, especially for TV, mobile and web discovery and playback.
  • Curiosity about viewers and teammates, and a habit of keeping up with consumer digital trends, emerging technology and interaction models.

  • Ability to pick the most impactful ideas and take them through evaluation, experimentation and release.
