Description

The team is the AI Content and Media Product team in Operations & Technology. The work sits where machine learning systems, large-scale media workflows, metadata standards and enterprise integrations meet, and the output is production-ready products used across the company.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management and business stakeholders to deliver product value that is clear and reliable and tied to organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Scope, build and ship GenAI-powered capabilities with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, Product and Scrum.
  • Learn how stakeholders work and what they need, then write clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Own one or more product areas, taking work from discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • Build and keep up an outcome-based roadmap with cross-functional teams, based on customer insight, technical limits and business priorities.
  • Test products for functionality, accuracy and performance, and support demos and product reviews.
  • Own features after launch and refine them using feedback.
  • Drive roadmap execution so work lines up with near-term and mid-term priorities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors across the full lifecycle of each GenAI use case.
  • Prepare and present updates, documentation, metrics and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Weigh tradeoffs between model quality, performance, cost and latency with technical teams.
  • Track emerging AI, LLM and machine learning technologies and relevant vendor offerings.
  • Help identify reusable GenAI patterns for future products.
  • Find ways to improve product capabilities, operational processes and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior Product Managers through regular feedback, guidance and shared work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, product development or a related technical role.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager on complex, technology-driven products.
  • Ability to turn technical concepts and system behavior into clear requirements for technical and non-technical readers.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data science teams on AI or data-driven products.
  • Strong organizational skills for juggling several priorities in a quick-moving environment.
  • Solid grasp of agile methods and current product development practices.
  • Desired characteristics: strong collaboration skills and the ability to build working relationships across teams.
  • Desired characteristics: advanced analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Desired characteristics: self-starter who is comfortable in an evolving, ambiguous problem space.
  • Desired characteristics: familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Airtable.
  • Desired characteristics: proficiency with Lucidchart, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Desired characteristics: experience in the Media and Entertainment industry.
  • Desired characteristics: knowledge of data governance, privacy, legal compliance, cybersecurity and ethical AI practices.
  • Desired characteristics: experience writing, reviewing or contributing to code in modern programming languages.
