You will lead the analytics team, set the analytics roadmap, and act as the link between business partners and the data organization.

This is a player-coach role: you will manage and grow a global analytics team while still working hands-on with SQL and Python to answer complex business questions with clear, actionable findings.

You will be responsible for data integrity and for delivering analytics work that is accurate, on time, and trusted by senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a globally distributed analytics team that moves quickly and asks sharp questions.

  • Own the global analytics roadmap for commercial teams, setting priorities, managing capacity, and meeting business goals.
  • Work with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Data Science, and Economics to agree shared data priorities, standards, and practices that strengthen data culture across the company.
  • Create scalable processes, standards, and documentation so the team can move fast without losing quality.
  • Work with senior stakeholders in EMEA, APAC, and North America to turn business needs into analytical frameworks, key metrics, and reporting strategy.
  • Oversee delivery of dashboards, models, and data solutions built with Snowflake, dbt, Python, and a BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Lead data quality and governance work together with data engineering and BI teams.
  • Embed analytics into decisions made with product, finance, supply chain, engineering, and marketing.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders to inform planning, forecasting, and go-to-market execution.
  • Test new tools, methods, and automation, and shape AI strategy and governance for commercial work.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years in data or business analytics, including at least 4 years managing people or leading teams.
  • Hands-on experience supporting the business in both EMEA and APAC, with a solid grasp of regional market, cultural, and data differences.
  • Exposure to commercial sales, logistics, and retail analytics.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, plus familiarity with the modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, and ETL workflows.
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • A proven record of hiring, developing, and managing analytical talent, ideally across time zones.
  • A track record of building roadmaps and processes from scratch and delivering in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
  • A strong understanding of data governance and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
