Description

The procurement data team at the company supports procurement groups with digital data solutions, using data analysis, visualization, reporting and KPI standardization to help build a more resilient supply chain and more efficient ways of working.

The role centres on collecting, analysing and interpreting large datasets so the business can plan and decide with better information and improve its processes overall.

The team works mainly in Skywise and is part of a central department that runs a Data Ambassador Network to share data insights across the organisation and collect feedback.

The company is the company Aerostructures' procurement group, working alongside data analysts, SAP key users and master data managers.

Responsibilities

  • Gather relevant data from a range of sources in Skywise, the main platform the team uses.
  • Apply statistical and analytical methods to data from different source systems and Excel files, and turn the results into robust, lasting databases in Skywise.

  • Build charts, graphs and other visuals that communicate findings clearly, and guide users on how to read them.
  • Drive and implement automation and digitalisation across procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Design and build detailed reports and executive dashboards that show key insights such as spend analysis and performance KPIs.
  • Find the main levers for continuous improvement and measure performance in procurement workflows.
  • Use and maintain the software and tools used for analysis and visualisation.
  • Make sure data is secure, private and compliant with internal rules and external regulations.
  • Work with other teams and management to understand their optimisation and information needs, and help identify key levers and target KPIs.
  • Act as the link between business functions, the data ecosystem and the solution being built.
  • Share best practices, insights and techniques with the wider data analyst community, and help the organisation adopt a data-driven mindset.

Requirements

  • A degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information technology, data analysis, data science or a similar field.
  • Experience in analytics is beneficial, and procurement skills are a plus.
  • Experience in agile project management and stakeholder management is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and visualise data.
  • Experience creating and improving reports and dashboards in tools such as Skywise, Tableau, Power BI, Google Workspace or Excel.
