Description

The company runs an AI-native platform for business travel and has spent a decade building the technology and supply behind it.

The platform serves over 40,000 customers and close to 2 million travelers, and travel and AI companies build on its infrastructure.

One system handles business trips, group travel, human agents and AI agents.

Travel management companies (TMCs) sign on, bring their corporate clients, and book flights, hotels and cars with direct billing and Flex built in. Each new agency and its corporate accounts must be configured, trained and guided through a first booking before that value arrives, and that is your job.

You will be the first dedicated implementer, shaping how the company onboards TMCs while doing the work yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Run each TMC rollout from signed agreement to live bookings: kickoff, discovery, project plan, risk tracking, go-live and 30 days of stabilization.
  • Manage several rollouts at the same time.
  • Set up each TMC's corporate accounts, including travel policies, approval chains, traveler profiles, display rules, the company-only rates alongside TMC-negotiated rate programs, and rate-access approvals for chains.
  • Own GDS readiness on Sabre, Travelport and Amadeus, covering pseudo-city and agency setup, PNR structure, queue placement, profile sync, ticketing and the mid-office handoff.
  • Scope and deliver integrations with SSO, HR profile feeds, expense systems, duty of care, reporting and BI, and commission tracking.
  • Lead UAT with TMC agents and corporate admins, triage defects with Product and Engineering, and make the go or no-go decision.
  • Build the implementation playbook: timelines, configuration templates, UAT scripts, and migration runbooks for corporates moving from legacy booking tools or from the self-serve site to OBT+.
  • Train agents, admins and travel managers, and produce written and video materials they can reuse.
  • Document TMC requirements and product gaps, and bring the implementation view into product reviews.
  • Support Sales with pre-sale technical discovery, RFPs and implementation scoping for enterprise TMCs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in implementation, onboarding or customer success, including time at a TMC or travel technology company, and at least one role where you designed the process yourself.
  • Hands-on GDS experience in at least one of Sabre, Travelport or Amadeus.
  • Experience on more than one GDS is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience administering or supporting an online booking tool such as Concur, Deem or Spotnana, including profiles, policies, approvals, and payment and billing setup.
  • Strong written communication: you can turn a setup call into a reusable guide and a customer problem into a clear brief for Product.
  • Experience managing or mentoring implementers, or building an implementation function from its first hire.
  • Comfort using AI tools to document, diagnose and scale implementation content while keeping it accurate and thorough.
  • Bonus points: you have worked inside a TMC and know account manager and agent workflows from the inside.
  • Bonus points: experience with direct bill, central billing or corporate card setup in a travel program.
  • Bonus points: background in meetings and events or group travel.
