Shift:

The regular hours for this position are day shift.

FormFactor is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to own the commercial strategy for the Probes Business Unit on a global basis. This leader will define how the business wins market share, shapes long-term demand, prices its products, and communicates its value across every portfolio and end market we serve. The role sits at the intersection of product marketing and product management: you will set the market-facing strategy and the commercial frameworks, and partner closely with Product Line Management and Product Enablement to turn that strategy into roadmaps, launches, and customer agreements.

You will lead the Regional Marketing function, which supports regional sales leaders and account managers on pricing strategy, volume and capacity agreements, and the communication of product value. Regional Marketing complements account management rather than replacing it and is initially focused on large strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

  • End Markets and Customers
  • The role carries global responsibility across all Probes portfolios and the end markets they serve:
  • Logic SoCs (GPUs and CPUs): high-performance compute devices that drive demand for advanced pad probing and related probe card solutions. You will build account strategies for leading GPU and CPU suppliers and track how new architectures, process nodes, and package types change probe requirements.
  • Hyperscale customers and custom ASICs: cloud and AI infrastructure companies that increasingly design their own silicon. You will develop go-to-market, pricing, and value-proposition approaches suited to these customers, whose buying patterns, volumes, and technical requirements differ from those of traditional semiconductor suppliers.
  • HBM and DRAM: memory customers across standard DRAM, custom HBM, and DRAM contactor solutions. You will own the commercial strategy for these accounts, including capacity planning, multi-year volume visibility, and pricing that reflects the performance and value of our solutions.
  • Other portfolio end markets: RF, automotive and industrial, and the platform products that span them, to be managed through a consistent global framework.
  • Market Share Strategy
  • Own the market share strategy for the entire Probes BU, by end market, portfolio, customer, and region.
  • Define where to compete and how to win, using market sizing, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and customer insight.
  • Translate share goals into account-specific plans, including pricing approaches, long-term volume agreements, and product positioning.
  • Track share performance and adjust strategy as technology transitions, customer programs, and competitive moves evolve.
  • Long-Term Demand and Long-Range Planning
  • Own the long-term demand view for the entire BU and the long-range plan that supports it, covering revenue, share, and portfolio outlook across end markets.
  • Build account-based forecasts grounded in customer roadmaps, technology transitions, and signed commitments.
  • Establish structured purchase and capacity agreements that improve demand predictability for the business and its customers.
  • Provide the market and demand inputs that guide product roadmaps, investment priorities, and capacity decisions.
  • SIOP Process
  • Lead the commercial and demand inputs to the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Ensure account-level commitments, agreements, and forecasts translate into an accurate representation of demand in SIOP.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Operations to reconcile short-term demand with long-term capacity and supply plans.
  • Pricing and Value Proposition
  • Lead BU pricing strategy and own pricing approvals, with a focus on shorter approval turnaround times and consistent decision-making across regions.
  • Develop pricing frameworks that reflect product value, competitive position, volume commitments, and customer segment.
  • Create and maintain value propositions for existing and new products and equip sales teams to communicate them clearly to customers.
  • Monitor price realization and the performance of commercial agreements, and recommend corrective actions when results diverge from plan.
  • Regional Marketing Leadership
  • Build and lead the global Regional Marketing team, starting with coverage of large strategic accounts, such as leading logic, memory, and hyperscale customers.
  • Support account managers and regional sales leaders with account strategies, pricing guidance, and agreement structures.
  • Capture regional and customer insights and feed them back into global portfolio, pricing, and roadmap decisions.
  • Product Management Partnership
  • Work with Product Line Management on portfolio priorities, forecasting, value propositions, end-of-life and consolidation decisions, and roadmaps.
  • Work with Product Enablement to ensure customer requirements are represented in new product introductions and first article vehicles.
  • Apply product management rigor to business cases, launch readiness, and product lifecycle performance.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Experience in product marketing, product management, strategic marketing, or commercial strategy in semiconductors, semiconductor equipment, advanced packaging, or test.
  • Demonstrated experience owning pricing strategy and approvals, value proposition development, and long-term customer agreements.
  • Experience with market share strategy, market sizing, long-range planning, and demand forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of the SIOP process and of how commercial forecasts connect to capacity and supply planning.
  • Familiarity with logic SoC (GPU and CPU), hyperscale and custom ASIC, and HBM and DRAM markets, including how their technology roadmaps affect test requirements.
  • Experience leading teams and managing a global, multi-portfolio scope, with strong cross-functional influence across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate with customers and senior executives.
  • What Success Looks Like:
  • A clear, data-driven market share strategy with defined account plans for each end market.
  • A long-range demand plan that the BU, Finance, and Operations trust and use.
  • Improved forecast accuracy in SIOP and growing coverage by purchase and capacity agreements.
  • Faster, more consistent pricing decisions and improved price realization.
  • Strong value propositions that sales teams use with customers across all portfolios.
