Solutions Architect Sr Principal - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Description

The company supports mission-critical initiatives and grows its business through emerging technology. The role is a Solutions Architect position based onsite in Chantilly, VA, supporting an intelligence customer.

You will help the customer succeed by applying new and emerging technologies to real business problems.

Position requires a Top Secret SCI clearance with Polygraph, which you must currently hold, and the ability to obtain the same clearance level. Position is classified as Regular, job family Technical Solutions, with no public trust or other clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Pick advanced solutions using business and technical criteria, weigh alternatives against the trade space, and implement the designs.
• Study current and emerging technologies and process methods, and suggest changes or tailoring where they fit.
• Review the existing system and business process architecture and work with staff on improvements.
• Build, extend and maintain service design procedures using established process frameworks and methods.
• Prepare and deliver test plans, technical presentations and analyst briefings.
• Gather customer requirements, compare alternatives, and recommend software, platform and network configurations.

Requirements

• You have 10+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another analytical, scientific or technical discipline.
• You have a broad understanding of and hands-on experience with integrating desktop, server and storage hardware; COTS, GOTS and full stack software; AWS, Azure and GCP cloud computing; AI and ML, including agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, GPUs, and model training and hosting; structured and unstructured data, ETL, RDBMS and lake technologies; and switching, routing and firewalls, across multi-OS environments.
• You hold Top Secret SCI with Polygraph and are a US citizen.
• You hold or can obtain DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
• You work independently with limited supervision, document work clearly, communicate well, and handle user interaction and business analysis.
• Skills in cloud computing, enterprise solutions architecture and networking are expected.

Conditions

Onsite work in Chantilly, VA, with 40 scheduled hours per week, no travel required, and no additional work locations listed.
