Solutions Architect, NCP Infrastructure

Description

The company is hiring a senior cloud infrastructure solutions architect with strong design experience for its ANZ team, focused on Neo Cloud customers.

You will work with the Neo Cloud ecosystem, which includes data center providers, OEMs and Neo Clouds, to design large-scale Neo Cloud deployments built on the company hardware and software designs based on the company DSX.

The role suits someone with deep technical experience who can act as a trusted advisor and skilled designer, solve hard design problems, and grow into a strategic resource for the Neo Cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers with complex or large-scale workloads, and map those workloads to the company technology designs to reach approved scale-out designs.
• Co-design advanced, scalable architectures with partners, OEMs and Neo Clouds, setting technical direction, integration milestones and deployment plans.
• Work with the company Services and post-sales teams on deployment assistance and operational excellence.
• Work hands-on with deep technical topics, designing, validating and supporting solutions that help customers and partners succeed.
• Identify gaps between customer or partner needs and the company offerings, and share those insights to shape internal product and engineering priorities.
• Lead technical engagements, troubleshoot with customers, resolve complex issues and advocate for their technical needs.
• Work across engineering and product teams to make deployments succeed and keep the company solutions improving.
• Develop, refine and document standard methods and operating guidelines for internal teams.
• Write clear documentation, including runbooks, onboarding materials and best-practice guides for customers and internal teams.
• Become the technical leader for assigned customer accounts, guiding the company DSX and platform architecture and shaping long-term infrastructure and operations decisions in the region and with HQ teams.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software or hardware engineering, developer relations, technical partnerships, solutions architecture or product management, including 3+ years of direct, hands-on work designing and deploying scale-out systems at data center scale.
• Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, up to C-level executives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity and a drive to help customers succeed.
• Proven hardware and software experience at scale, including deep knowledge of HPC and AI technologies (CPUs, GPUs, high-speed interconnects and storage) and their software stacks.
• Strong background in designing scalable solutions and giving consultative support to customers in a solution architecture and pre-sales role.
• Nice to have: experience with the company Neo Clouds, scale-out GPU deployments or the company-specific architectures.
• Nice to have: solid hands-on knowledge of data center networking design for compute architectures.
• Nice to have: experience with large-scale and cluster computing and data center design, including high-speed interconnects (Spectrum or InfiniBand), cluster storage and scheduling design or management.
• Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and automation.
• Nice to have: background with RDMA-based fabrics (InfiniBand or RoCE) in HPC or AI environments.
