Solutions Architect-GRC

Description

The role is a Solutions Architect focused on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). You will work directly with customers and partners across EMEA to design and deliver platform solutions with real impact, acting as a consultative advisor who enters complex client environments to bring order and confidence.

You will lead delivery of contracted GRC engagements covering Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Controls Management, and Compliance reporting. The GRC solution is moving to its next generation, and you will use AI-driven capabilities and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to handle technical execution efficiently, so your time goes to advisory work, client relationships, and keeping the solution healthy.

Responsibilities

• Own and run direct service delivery for GRC engagements with customers and partners in EMEA, moving each project from scoping through to strong outcomes.
• Lead detailed discovery sessions to map business workflows, then design sound GRC solutions in the company platform on your own, without day-to-day supervision.
• Build AI-driven workflows and Model Context Protocols into daily work to automate routine tasks, leaving more room for strategic advice and helping clients adopt current AI capabilities.
• Work directly with delivery partners, giving architectural guidance and quality reviews to keep solutions to standard, while partners keep ownership of the core work.
• Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Product to confirm project scope and push back constructively on weak design decisions from partners or customers to protect solution health.
• Share your GRC domain knowledge across the wider team by helping with onboarding, internal training, and enablement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years in a SaaS service delivery role, professional services, internal audit, risk and controls, or a closely related platform delivery field.
• Prior experience in GRC, internal audit, enterprise risk management, or compliance.
• Strong soft skills: confident consultative conversations, active listening, structured problem-solving, and clear communication with business stakeholders. This is listed as preferred.
• Proven ability to manage your own time across several client engagements while staying within the contracted scope. This is listed as preferred.
• Enthusiasm for modern SaaS and AI. Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, data concepts (SQL, JSON, REST APIs), or Model Context Protocols (MCPs) is preferred.
• Self-motivated, with a clear drive to shape business processes and help customers modernise their reporting environment. This is listed as preferred.
• Ability to build and sustain long-term relationships that put the customer first. This is listed as preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for customer meetings and internal events.
• Reliable internet access for any period when you work remotely rather than from a the company office.
