The role is Solution Architect (Manager) in healthcare, sitting within a diverse and collaborative group.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver high quality solutions that customers value and that affect users worldwide.
• Work with customer architects to agree functional and non-functional designs.
• Advise customers and managers on estimated effort, technical implications and complexity of your designs.
• Manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, focusing on performance and career development.
• Give direction and leadership to your team as you solve hard problems together.
• With peers, develop policy and standards, share knowledge and mentor others.
• Advise on new technologies and approaches, with room to learn and grow.

Requirements

• Essential: you have delivered software designs for multi-tiered modern applications.
• Essential: you understand whole solution architecture and can discuss and negotiate it with customer architects.
• Essential: you can rank non-functional concerns for customers and build them into application design.
• Essential: you have experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Essential: you explain technical designs clearly in conversation, documents and presentations.
• Essential: you make sound decisions during fast-moving delivery.
• Essential: you have shown you can manage, coach and develop junior team members.
• Desirable: you have been accountable for technology delivery of any size, from single projects to multi-team programmes.
• Desirable: you have proactively grown business across an account alongside sales and account managers.
• Desirable: you have managed people, set objectives, given feedback and led performance reviews.
• Desirable: you can balance your time across several major projects.
• Desirable: you share your views on technology.
• Desirable: you have taken part in technology communities.
