Description

You will join the application services team for an international programme run for a major aerospace company.

Its Polish branch, the Global Delivery Center in Katowice, has operated since 2007 and now has around 1,000 specialists.

The application services group handles software development, data engineering, testing, CRM, ITSM and ERP integrations, and runs application management for clients in Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

The hiring process has two steps: a phone call with a recruiter of up to 30 minutes, then a one-hour Teams interview covering general and technical questions.

Only people based in Poland who hold EU citizenship can be considered for this role.

  • Apply data classification and cybersecurity standards to every architectural decision.
  • Produce architecture deliverables.
  • Track and update architecture risks, assumptions and decisions on a regular basis.
  • Help run architecture governance, including committees, reviews and steering committees.
  • The technology stack varies across the project.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of experience, mainly on complex IT transformation projects.
  • Solid experience designing end-to-end architecture, both functional and technical.
  • Regular experience writing architecture documentation and leading workshops.
  • Experience working with security, infrastructure, business, data and development teams.
  • Experience taking part in technical or performance audits.
  • Knowledge of application and technical architecture, including multi-system setups, integration, patterns and APIs.

  • Strong grasp of IT and OT security standards, IAM, compliance and data classification.
  • Understanding of data architecture, including data flows, data modelling and data quality.
  • Hands-on architecture modelling in Archimate.
  • A natural leadership style and an advisory approach.
  • Clear communication, with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
  • Analytical thinking, strong synthesis and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Good organisation and time management, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Knowledge of architecture best practice, including TOGAF.
  • EU citizenship.
  • Fluent English at B2 or C1 level.
  • Willingness to take occasional business trips abroad and visit the Katowice office.
  • French at any level.
  • Optional, but appreciated: TOGAF, SAFe or Archimate certification, cloud architect certification (Azure, AWS or GCP), or ITIL.
