Description

The company runs online gambling services, has operated since 2000, employs over 10,000 people and serves more than 120 million customers in 26 languages.

This role is in the Payments Delivery Stream, which builds the logic behind global transactions. The team focuses on accurate, secure and reliable deposits, withdrawals and provider integrations.

As a Software Tester, you will help keep the global payment systems working correctly for millions of customers, using AI-driven tools and automation to test complex payment flows, from API testing to checking compliance controls, so the software stays robust and scalable.

You will test payment logic, third-party provider integrations and compliance controls across the customer site and back-office tools, using current technology and AI.

The role is eligible for the company's hybrid work from home policy.

The platform handles more than 1.38 million In-Play sporting events a year, with over 750 concurrent fixtures at peak, over 6 million HTTP requests a day and more than 1.5 million bets per hour at peak.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on testing with an AI and automation first approach, checking and building test scope and executable tests generated by agents.
• Set and own test strategies, giving reliable estimates and recommending approaches that put quality first.
• Test Account Management and Onboarding projects.
• Log defects clearly and follow them through to resolution in Jira.
• Improve agentic processes by giving regular feedback.
• Report testing progress to the project team and escalate problems when needed.
• Learn the product by working with subject matter experts.
• Plan software delivery.
• Build working relationships across the business to find new ideas.

Requirements

• Understanding of payment principles, including deposits, withdrawals and payment method integrations.
• Skill in API testing with Gherkin syntax and in reading technical documentation.
• Experience with automation tools such as Playwright and with creating tests using AI.
• A strong sense of ownership over testing, with the ability to define and carry out thorough test strategies.
• Ability to set priorities and adapt quickly when requirements change, with a positive attitude.
• A proactive approach to your own development and to retaining what you learn.
• Ability to work with others or on your own on project requirements.
• An analytical mind and close attention to detail.
• Interest in new technology, especially AI agents.
