Software Project Management Analyst 2/3

Description

The company builds aerospace systems, and this role supports a software program run by its Autonomous Design Center of Excellence in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, CA, within the Aerospace Systems sector.

The opening is for a Project Management Analyst at level 2 or a Principal Project Management Analyst at level 3, and either level may be filled.

Relocation assistance may be available. No security clearance is needed to start, but the role requires a Secret clearance. The role involves no travel.

Responsibilities

• Moderate peer reviews of software.
• Release software documents and media.
• Deliver physical media on short notice.
• Produce software metrics.
• Apply software process workflows and standards.
• Organize and run meetings and training sessions.
• Write meeting agendas and minutes, and prepare materials for audits.
• Help the team with its daily operations.

Requirements

• Level 2: 2 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 0 years with a master's degree.
• Level 3: 5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 3 years with a master's degree, or 1 year with a PhD.
• Be able to obtain and keep a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special access within a reasonable time, as the company decides based on its business needs. U.S. citizenship is required.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Have written or quality-reviewed technical documents.
• Have worked closely with customers and leadership.
• Preferred: experience in the tech or defense industries.
• Preferred: experience with configuration management.

Conditions

Work at the Rancho Bernardo (San Diego) site regularly, on a hybrid schedule that combines remote work with on-site work as business needs require.

Base pay for the primary level is $72,400.00 - $108,600.00, and for the secondary level it is $89,900.00 - $134,900.00.

The pay range is a general guide. The company sets base pay based on the scope and duties of the role, your experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, you may be eligible for overtime, shift differential and a discretionary bonus.
