Description

About the Role

Join a product-focused engineering team building AI capabilities for data and marketing workflows. You will take ideas from rapid prototypes through to reliable production systems, helping shape new product experiences with LLMs and data agents.

Responsibilities

  • Build and iterate on proofs of concept that explore AI applications in data and marketing workflows.
  • Work with a small team to prototype and ship product ideas, establishing foundations for new product capabilities.
  • Make decisions about AI architectures, frameworks, and where different LLM approaches are effective.
  • Develop production data agents that use company data to answer analytics and data science questions.
  • Study user workflows and create seamless AI-assisted product experiences.

Requirements

  • Five to twelve years of software engineering experience building core products, ideally with applied AI or machine learning.
  • Strong backend architecture skills, product judgment, and the ability to prototype quickly and build production-ready systems.
  • Experience with complex AI applications beyond basic retrieval-augmented generation, applying machine learning in product or engineering contexts.
  • Experience building product software in a fast-moving startup or growth-stage environment, with increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Strong computer science or mathematics fundamentals and familiarity with AI concepts; prior professional LLM experience is not required.
  • A record of building products from early development through iteration is valuable.

Conditions

Base salary is $200,000 to $320,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
