The company builds software that major brands use to run frontline experiences, lead high-performing teams, and create products people value. It created the Experience Management category and serves over 18K clients worldwide.
The XM Directory (XMD) Engineering team in Seattle works on XM Directory, which captures what the company learns about each customer, employee, or other stakeholder across their interactions. Over time it builds profiles covering what people like, what they need, and how each interaction made them feel.
That context helps narrow the Experience Gap, the distance between what people expect and what companies deliver, and gives AI, including the Experience Agents, what it needs during key moments. The team is building the data layer of the XM Data & AI Platform.
The team works on big-data problems: storage built for stakeholder data at scale, plus compute and serving layers that return data quickly. When AI acts during a live customer interaction, that data must be fresh, accurate, and fast. The team picks from open source and proven tools such as Elasticsearch, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Kinesis, and Redis.
The team sets ambitious goals and works quickly. Hard problems get solved together, with people iterating until the strongest answer emerges.
In this role you will deepen your skills in scalable, fast, robust, and simple SaaS solutions and broaden your work with distributed systems, containerization, and databases.
