Description

The team builds customer-facing product for enterprises at scale, including agentic software and AI built directly into the platform, using modern tools that help engineers move quickly on high-impact problems.

The company was acquired by the company and still moves at startup pace with the backing of a large enterprise's distribution, resources, and long-term runway.

Engineers own work from idea to production, covering scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and improvements based on real customer feedback, with few approvals in the way.

The Product Core team builds the base systems everything depends on: finding prospects, scheduling and routing meetings, syncing data with calendars and go-to-market tools, running workflows, and supporting enterprise sign-in. It also lets customers and partners extend the product through public APIs, webhooks, and custom integrations. These areas affect conversion, revenue, and customer trust.

The team also builds the data, context, and execution behind AI product features such as meeting preparation, routing investigation, and product explainability.

Responsibilities

  • As a technical leader on Product Core, take large initiatives from early design to production, shape architecture, write substantial production code, guide technical direction, and help other engineers.
  • Own complex product work from an unclear problem through technical design, build, launch, and continued upkeep.
  • Build dependable meeting-booking, calendaring, routing, and workflow features that directly influence customer conversion and revenue.
  • Build and extend integrations with CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, collaboration, calendar, and data enrichment platforms.
  • Create clear public APIs and solid webhooks so customers and partners can extend the product.
  • Plan for third-party limits and quirks: API rate caps, OAuth credentials, messy data, retries, sync issues, and partial failures.
  • Extend AI-assisted features such as meeting preparation, routing investigation, and explanations of product behavior.
  • Improve scalability, observability, security, and supportability of critical production systems, and trace hard customer issues to their root cause.
  • Raise the engineering bar through technical leadership, design and code reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements

  • You have independently delivered complex SaaS features from design through launch and ongoing operation.
  • You are strong across the stack, especially backend systems, APIs, relational data models, and background processing.
  • You have built or run integrations with complex third-party platforms.
  • You make sound decisions on reliability, data integrity, security, and gradual system change.
  • You debug well across application, integration, and data layers.
  • You have led technically and shape architecture and delivery beyond your own workstream.
  • You work well in ambiguity: you frame problems, propose solutions, and bring others along.
  • You think about product, caring about UX and customer outcomes as well as the code.
  • You have worked with CRM, marketing automation, scheduling, routing, enrichment, or workflow products.
  • You understand OAuth, webhooks, synchronization pipelines, rate-limited APIs, or eventual consistency.
  • You have worked with enterprise identity systems such as SSO, SAML, or SCIM.
  • You have built production AI or LLM applications, agent tooling, or explainability features.
  • Nice to have: experience with modern web frameworks such as Rails, React, Postgres, and AWS (a plus). Adaptability matters most.

Conditions

Current students and people who graduated within the last 12 months should look at the Futureforce program for opportunities.

Benefits

  • Your work sits in the customer conversion path, so better booking, routing, and workflows help customers close more deals.
  • Hard integration problems such as OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, sync, and partial failures, at enterprise scale.
  • Help build the context and execution layer behind the AI assistant's experiences, from meeting preparation to explainability.
  • A team that values craft and decisive execution, where strong ideas win and shipping is the norm.
  • Benefits and resources are offered to help you find work-life balance and grow.
