Description

The company makes technology for food and beverage producers, working closely with its customers on sustainable innovation.

This HR reporting and analytics role gives leaders insight into all HR data and supports company-wide decisions.

Workday reporting is the main focus, with some broader analytics work in Power BI and AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Databricks.

You will turn stakeholders' questions into accurate, scalable, well-governed reports and help the team modernise how HR data is accessed and used.

In your first six months, you should become the trusted owner of core Workday reporting, shorten turnaround on standard requests, and begin moving selected dashboards into Power BI or Databricks where useful, while keeping documentation and governance at SOX-compliant standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Workday custom reports (advanced, matrix and composite) using calculated fields, business objects and report groups.
  • Create and upkeep Workday dashboards and Discovery Boards for HR leaders, HR business partners and operations teams.
  • Design, build, maintain and tune Workday BIRT reports for HR, payroll and workforce analysis, keeping data accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
  • Work with Workday HCM governance and functional teams (Recruiting, Time, Absence, Payroll, Talent, Compensation) so reports follow data and change control standards.
  • Build Power BI data pipelines that connect to Workday and other HR sources for cross-functional dashboards.
  • Prepare, transform and report on data from other sources when needs go beyond native Workday capabilities.
  • Use Copilot and other AI tools to speed up report building, documentation and data quality checks within governance and security rules.
  • Turn vague business requests into clear requirements, mock-ups and delivery timelines.
  • Validate data, troubleshoot and find root causes when reports give unexpected results.
  • Document report logic, data lineage and refresh schedules to support audit and SOX needs.
  • Handle ad hoc and recurring requests on headcount, turnover, compensation and other core HR metrics.
  • Find reports to merge, standardise, automate or retire across tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building Workday reports, including custom reports, calculated fields and dashboards.
  • Working proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling and dashboard design.
  • Exposure to Databricks or similar cloud data platforms, such as SQL, notebooks or pipeline concepts.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot for report development and documentation.
  • Strong SQL and general data literacy across relational data structures.
  • Experience with HR or people data and a working understanding of common HR metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail on data accuracy, security and compliance.
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical HR stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Workday Report Writer certification.
  • Preferred: experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Preferred: familiarity with HR shared services or Global People Services operating models.
  • Preferred: experience supporting multi-region or global HR reporting.
  • Preferred: background in change control or data governance frameworks.
  • Preferred: SOX or similar controls experience.
